Obituary of Stephen C. Bickell

Stephen C. Bickell, 66, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte. Mr. Bickell was born April 25, 1946 in Wilmington, Delaware to Albert and June (nee Olsen) Bickell and moved to this area 3 years ago from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He was a 1964 graduate of Harriton High School in Rosemont, PA and worked as a carpenter, a career and hobby he loved. Mr. Bickell was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Air Force where he served two tours of duty so his brother would not have to serve and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Lake Suzy. He served two tours of duty Mr. Bickell is survived by Lynn Hoover of Port Charlotte; brothers, Bill (Lexie) Bickell of Worthington, OH, Dick (Sarah) Bickell of Nashville, TN, Tommy (Linda) Bickell of Narberth, PA/Bradenton, FL, and Bob (Nancy) Bickell of Chester, PA; sisters, Susan (Joe) Bisignaro of Ocean City, NJ and Sandy (Kirk) Harman of West Chester, PA; and sister-in-law, Angela Bickell of Narberth, PA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Bickell. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
