Obituary of Lenox E. Beissel

Lenox E. Beissel, 82, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Delray Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late J. Fred and Lue Beissel on August 10, 1930 in Darby, PA. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and served many years as a testing engineer for General Electric. He moved to Punta Gorda, in 2001 from Delray Beach, FL He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and usher, and a Fourth Degree Knight. He is survived by his loving wife 32 years, Lena; daughters, Cecelia (William) Grant, and Michele Roberts; sons, Shawn (Rachel) Montgomery and Brian Montgomery; ten grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, with Sacred Heart Church Officiating. Final rest will follow with military honors at Charlotte Memorial Cemetery's Tranquility Hall Mausoleum. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to service time .
