Obituary of Duane T. Hazel

On May 26th 2019 Duane Hazel age 67 took a peaceful ride to heaven on his motorcycle after a long battle of poor health and pain. Duane was born in Minneapolis,MN and raised in Bloomington MN. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1971. Duane worked as a diesel mechanic with MTC for 25 years in Bloomington, MN. He enjoyed rebuilding and riding motorcycles. He later in life found a true passion for working on computers. Duane was best known for his kindness, patience and love for making people laugh. He survived by his devoted loving spouse and best friend of 45 years Cherie Hazel, the light of his life daughter Katie Perrier (Kyle) and 3 beautiful granddaughters Makenzie, Madison and Lily Perrier, whom he loved with great pride. He also survived by his brothers Ron Hazel, Randy (Linda) Hazel and Kevin Hazel. Sisters Patty (Jim) Kaiser and Peggy (Gil) Olsen.. Sister in laws Cordy Hazel, Barb (Ed) Wood, Pam (Jeff) Koepke, Sara (Greg)Austin. Brother in laws Dan Fortier (Kim), Sean (Jen) Fortier, Scott Fortier, several cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Mary Hazel and Brother Larry Hazel. He will be greatly missed by his faithful fury companions Milo and Zack.
