Obituary of Anne P. Avery

Anne Partridge entered into eternal rest on Tuesday March 13, 2012. Anne was born January 1926 to Horace and Sybil Rafters Partridge in Haverstraw, NY. On December 25, 1947, she married the late Rutledge James Avery. Together they raised their six children in Haverstraw, NY. In 1986, they relocated to Port Charlotte, FL where they enjoyed many years of boating, going to the beach, and relaxing poolside at their home. Anne is survived by her children, Frances Grimm of Port Charlotte, Sybil & Michael Flynn of Suffern, NY, Charles & Donna Avery of New City, NY, and Vincent & Bonnie Avery and Rutledge & Thomasena Avery, all of Florida; her two sisters, Frances Conner and Katherine McIntyre; and her best friend of 75 years, Rita Donaldson. She also is survived by thirteen grandchildren, Devyn Grimm, Ann- Frances Grimm, Michael Avery, Domenick Avery, Anthony Avery, Frances Avery-Clemente, Patrick Kennell, Jody Kennell Thompson, Michael Flynn, Sybil Flynn-Jeffs, Vincent Avery, James Avery, and Tomasena Avery, as well as her eight great-grandchildren, Alexander Avery, Hailey Avery, Domenick Avery, Charles Avery, Chloe Thompson, Annabelle Thompson, Joey Clemente, and Tony Clemente. She was predeceased by her daughter, Anne Avery Kennell and sister, Sybil Bolland. Private services will be held for family members.
