Obituary of Steven William Abood

Steven William Abood, 62, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte. Mr. Abood was born July 15, 1949 in Kearney, Nebraska to Edward and Reva (nee Horaney) Abood and moved to this area 7 years ago from Port Huron, Michigan. He worked in quality control at an auto manufacturer and was a veteran serving in the US Army. Mr. Abood was of Greek Orthodox faith. Mr. Abood is survived by his sons, Gregory E. (Shannon) Abood of Monroe, MI and Steven C. (Sarah) Abood of Clinton Township, MI; daughter Michelle S. (Anthony) Byrd of Port Charlotte; mother, Reva Abood of Lansing, MI; brother, Randy Abood of Lansing, MI; sister, Kathie Johnson of Holt, MI; and 5 grandchildren.
