Obituary of Barbara Otero

Barbara "Barbie" Otero, 44, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. Ms. Otero was born December 3, 1967 in Bronx, New York to Joseph M. and Carmen M. (nee Estrada) Otero. She worked as a file clerk for a hospital, as a medical assistant, and for a marketing research company. Ms. Otero is survived by her son, David Kristian Escalante of Port Charlotte; daughter, Jade Kheelian DeLeon of Port Charlotte; brother, Jose M. Otero of Miami, FL; and sister, Lourdes Otero-Serrano of Port Charlotte. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Punta Gorda Alliance Church, 7500 Florida Street in Punta Gorda.
