Obituary of Vincent F. Ferrise

Vincent F. Ferrise, 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Harbour Health Center in Port Charlotte. Mr. Ferrise was born August 23, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Adeline (nee Lazzara) Ferrise and moved from Chicago to Islamorada, Florida in 1980 before moving to this area in 1986. He worked as a diesel mechanic in the trucking industry and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. Mr. Ferrise was of Catholic faith. Mr. Ferrise is survived by his sons, Steven V. (Kristi) Ferrise of Marathon, FL and Scott L. Ferrise of Winter Park, FL; daughter Sharon (Mike) Venneman of Wadena, MN; 2 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
