Obituary of June Marie York

June Marie York, 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. Mrs. York was born June 25, 1926 in North Manchester, Indiana to Paul and Bernice (nee Hoff) Hostetler and moved to this area 2 years ago from Lake Wales, Florida. She worked as a registered nurse at various hospitals and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Lake Suzy. Mrs. York is survived by her sons, James Kent (Robin) York of Pensacola, FL and Dr. Kenneth N. (Sandra) York of Port Charlotte; daughter, Patricia Elaine York of Chicago, IL; sister, Carol Brown of Indiana; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Edgewater United Methodist Church, 19190 Toledo Blade Boulevard in Port Charlotte.
