Obituary of Sylvia L. Grizzaffi

Sylvia L. Grizzaffi, 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her residence surrounded by family. Sylvia was born March 25, 1938 in New York, New York to Anna Bindus Ashman and Eddie Ashman. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1986, with her husband, Joseph, and two daughters from Rockland County, New York. She worked in various high-level administrative positions throughout her career. Sylvia was a very caring and wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Sylvia will be greatly missed by her husband, Joseph; daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Jason, and Karen and Darrell; sister, Carole; and grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Andrew, Ben, and Kylie; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister, Joan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00AM on Friday, May 6, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Avenue in Port Charlotte.
