Obituary of Earl W. Lewis

Earl W. Lewis, 89, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Monday, November 1, 2010 at Harbour Health Center in Port Charlotte. Mr. Lewis was born June 20, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Howard and Lucy C. (nee Link) Lewis and moved to this area 29 years ago from Bensalem, PA. Mr. Lewis was a member of the Southwest Florida Fossil Club, the Warm Mineral Springs/Little Salt Spring Archeological Society, Sportsmans Yacht Club of Port Charlotte; and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Port Charlotte. Mr. Lewis is survived by his son, E. Wayne (Sandra) Lewis of Doylestown, PA; his daughter, Joan M. Lewis of Hatfield, PA; his sister, Lucille Lewis of Port Charlotte; and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie and a son, Robert A. Lewis. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00PM at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte with a memorial service to follow at 2:00PM at First Presbyterian Church, 2230 Hariet Street in Port Charlotte.
