Obituary of Marjean Sparrow

Marjean M. Sparrow, 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Sparrow was born October 19, 1923 in Decatur County, Indiana to Jesse Clinton and Ethel Mae (nee Jones) McDonald and moved to this area 22 years ago from Westport, IN. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service and attended Punta Gorda First Christian Church in Punta Gorda. Mrs. Sparrow is survived by her nieces, Janice (Ray) Hauk of Fairland, IN, Pauline (Robert) Newton of Waldron, IN, and JoAnn (John) Moore of Greensburg, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Coleman Sparrow. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 2:00PM at Punta Gorda First Christian Church, 4124 Taylor Road in Punta Gorda with Pastor Dwight D. Elam officiating.
